The Boombox Sculpture

Hand-sewn sculpture exploring material translation and object reinterpretation

Hand-sewn sculpture translating a portable cassette player into a soft, full-scale object. The work reconstructs the boombox, cassette, and batteries through textile construction, shifting a rigid electronic form into a tactile material expression. Developed as a collaborative project, the sculpture focuses on material transformation, scale, and object reinterpretation through craft-based processes.
